The Duchess Catherine has admitted that fatherhood can be "so difficult".
The 37-year-old royalty, who has children Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis three months and nine months and her husband Prince William, spoke frankly during a visit to the charity Family Action on Tuesday when he recognized the "Fight" that comes when the support "disappears" for the new families.
Speaking as he helped launch a new line of national support for the organization, which provides community assistance to families in South London, he said: "It is very difficult, you get a lot of support with the baby as a mother, especially in the first days. but after the age of one year, it disappears.After that, there are not a lot of books to read.
"Everyone experiences the same fight."
The Duchess also met with young caregivers, who juggled the school to care for a family member and praised them for balancing their studies with their responsibilities at home.
She told them: "Everyone does an incredible job, I do not know how they do it."
This is not the first time that Catherine admits that she does not always find fatherhood easy and does not feel safe all the time when it comes to decisions about her children.
Speaking in March 2017, she said: "Personally, being a mother has been such a rewarding and wonderful experience, but sometimes it has also been a great challenge, even for me, that has support at home that most mothers do not
"For many mothers, including myself, this can sometimes lead to a lack of confidence and feelings of ignorance."
Family Action established FamilyLine 12 months ago, but now it is being tested as a national service.
It is available to anyone struggling with aspects of family life, from parenthood and relationship difficulties to mental health and well-being, and aims to provide immediate, long-term support, guidance and practical information.
