Prince William's mental health campaign was rejected by celebrities

According to Prince William, a lot of celebrities rejected the opportunity to support their mental health campaign in 2016.

The 36-year-old created the charity organization Heads Together, which strives to support people with mental health and well-being problems in 2016, but the Prince revealed that he and his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, initially struggled to generate Support profile for your campaign.

He shared: "When we organized the campaign, no celebrity wanted to join us, no one wanted to help with the campaign because it was mental health."

The Prince also claimed that the attitudes of the British towards mental health go back to World War II, saying that a rigid-lip approach has prevented some people from talking honestly about their concerns.

He explained: "I take it to the war.

"It was very difficult for everyone, losing so many loved ones and dealing with such horrific circumstances that no matter how much you can talk, you were never going to fix the problem."

"Completely by accident, they passed that on to the next generation, we all learn from our parents, we all learn from how they deal with things.

"So, this whole generation inherited that this is how we deal with the problems, we do not talk about them, I think there is now a generation here that realizes that this is not normal and that we should talk about them.

Meanwhile, Prince William also confessed that working in the air ambulance led him to retire to his "carapace".

He said: "I was dealing with many traumas every day, things that your body is not programmed to do.

"I may have gotten a bit into my shell and thought 'I can deal with this on my own' and then, potentially, on the line where it manifests itself in a much worse situation."
